Chopper tattoo is something I was looking at and doing some digging about. Since a tattoo is such deeply personal and a permanent mark on your body it’s a huge decision and I wanted to make sure I had all the information so I could get it right the first time.

Not only does it allow you to express yourself in a unique and detailed manner, but the longevity of the medium and the commitment involved make it the single most effective way to do so.It’s in essence a full outward display for the world to see of what’s going on the inside of you.  So obviously you want to make sure the message the world is receiving is what’s really going on within you and the one you want to send out to the world.

It is a neat idea but if it goes wrong you end up sending the wrong message, being embarrassed and having spent your money on something you don’t want or like so you will feel ripped off.

One of my biggest problems was verbally describing the feelings, emotions, and actual picture to my local tattoo artist.

There are those who talk about using body art on all sorts of body parts, but I think the best thing to do is start small, try something simple that you know will work and go from there. It’s better to have an idea, drawn or in your head, when you go to the tattoo parlor because this helps make sure you get a satisfactory tattoo. Then, if I need it, the image can be used as a starting point to tell the tattoo artist what changes I want so he can do that on my body.

But again was that nagging problem of being able to transfer and communicate the image from my head to the tattoo artist so he could then use his artistic skill to make that image appear on my arm.

Whenever I am struggling with something, all I have to do is grab a computer, go online, and start looking at websites and blogs. These give me answers all the time.

It’s also cool to get others feedback so you can know from real people what’s worked for them and this is the name which kept coming up over and over to solve this problem of “describing in words what I want the tattoo artist to draw”. Check out the recommended solution to see whether it’s what you’re looking for.

You can start here. The solution gives rise to hundreds of imagination, designs and drawings. You can ask the local tattooist to copy down or use it as a starting point.  You may describe the modifications and the work will be satisfactory.

I feel very cool now and like an insider.  I feel like one of the true bikers clan when I go to the rallies and show off my new chopper tattoos.
